Rocking Horse Restoration

This small Lines rocking horse c.1880, originally a dappled grey, had been stripped back to the bare wood and crudely stained. After completion of essential repairs to the horse and stand and reinstatement of the dappled finish and appropriate tack, it looks altogether like a cherished childhood favourite.
